How to come on Leros Island

Scheduled Ferry Services

• From Piraeus

You can visit our hotel complex "Chrisoula" in Leros, by using the Dodecanese's scheduled ferry services which depart daily from Piraeus with destination our islands' harbours. (GA Ferries, Blue Star Ferries)

• Via neighbouring Islands

There are interisland ferry services connecting the ports of Leros by "flying dolphins" and the "Catamaran" with the neighbouring islands of:Samos, Fourni, Ikaria, Patmos, Lipsi, Kalymnos and Symi as well as daily connection with the main islands of Kos and Rhodes on regular intervals.

Also, visitors can travel to Leros by using the ferry "Kalymnos" which has scheduled itineraries to and from our Island four times a week stopping at the ports of Samos, Agathonisi, Akrion, Lipsi, Patmos or by using the ferry "Katerina" (Mourgos) with headquarters in Leros, which departs daily, from Ksirokambos - Leros early in the morning for Kalymnos with arrival at Myrties and return.

• Airline Connections

The recently renovated airport of the island is located in the northern part of the island, near Partheni and is serviced by the main road system which is presently in operation.
There are daily flights by Olympic Airlines with destination Leros to and from the airport of "Eleftherios Venizelos" and are serviced by ATR 43 and Dash 8 aircraft with a seating capacity of 50 and 38 passengers, respectively.

Apart from the direct flights to and from the island from the airport in Athens, there is also an in-coming flight based from the airport in Rhodes and services Kos, Leros and Astypalia with return to Rhodes via the same islands stops and itineraries. During the summer months this itinerary operates three times a week and during the rest of the year, this flight operates twice a week.

The airline tickets are subsidized therefore, they are quite economical However, it is common for flights to be completely booked because of the low seating capacity of the aircraft.
